Ronee's Background Ronee Korbin Steiner is Phi Beta Kappa, cum laude graduate, with Honors in the Liberal Arts, from the Ohio State University and Temple University School of Law. After admissions to the NJ and PA bars in 1993, and then completing a clerkship in Philadelphia in 1994, Ronee moved to Arizona to be closer to family. After being admitted into the Arizona bar in 1995, Ronee began practicing as a Maricopa County Public Defender, for whom she tried felony jury and misdemeanor trials for three years, gaining significant trial experience. Ronee then joined a friend in a private practice in Carefree, Arizona, where she practiced family law, general civil litigation and criminal defense. In August 1999, Ronee ventured out on her own, as her former partner left to go to medical school. She incorporated the Law Offices of Ronee Korbin Steiner, P.C. and began to focus on family law matters. She currently focuses her practice primarily on Family Law, including but not limited to Dissolution, Legal Separation, Child Custody, Child Support, Spousal Maintenance, Relocation and other matters. In 2010, Ronee was invited to be an adjunct professor at the Phoenix School of Law. On a personal note, Ronee has been singing for over 20 years. She was trained classically and in musical theater and has has been singing R and B and jazz standards while living in Arizona. She has sung the National Anthem for the Arizona Diamondbacks for six years in a row, starting with their inaugural season. She performs at local theaters such as Stagebrush Theater, Fountain Hills Community Theater, Desert Foothills Theater and Theater Works. Ronee also provides pro-bono work for various charity groups including Family Law Assistance Project, Legal Assistance for Military Personnel and Community Legal Services and promotes the arts at elementary schools in Scottsdale. She is an avid exerciser and enjoys traveling. ![]() About Rebecca Rebecca Marquis joined our office in mid 2008. She graduated from the University of Georgia and went on to law school at Georgia State University. Ms. Marquis opened her own boutique firm before joining forces with Ms. Korbin Steiner. Rebecca earned her undergraduate degree in Criminal Justice and attended college on an academic scholarship. She was on the DeanÔø‡Ôø‡Ôø‡s List, Presidential Scholar at UGA and a member of the National Criminal Justice Honor Society. During college and law school, Rebecca was an intern for the Dekalb County Child Advocacy Unit in Atlanta where she advocated on behalf of children that were victims of abuse/neglect. Rebecca was also a mentor for the Teen Outreach Pregnancy Services. Currently, Rebecca volunteers with FLAP (Family Law Assistance Program), where she does pro bono work for clients in need of family law assistance. She recently conducted a seminar on self-representation in family law matters to a group of women who could not afford legal representation. Rebecca is a member of the State Bar of Arizona, Scottsdale Bar Association, Maricopa Bar, and Arizona WomenÔø‡Ôø‡Ôø‡s Lawyers Association. In her leisure time, Rebecca coaches youth sports, volunteers regularly in the classroom at school, and has provided underprivileged children with tutoring and academic assistance. |
